I was talking to my friend last night who has known me since 4th grade. I told her about how we were redoing the guest room (that she sometimes uses) in a vintage style with quilts and things from the thrift store and the vintage consignment shop. She said, "That is not your style!"
I know! It is strange this fascination with old and old looking things. It is like Jenni Bowlin has taken over my mind.
Maybe it is being in my 50's now, maybe this is the usual evolution but for me it is very different. Right now I am all about the vintage look, grandma's attic style with a bit of shabby chic thrown in. Whatever it causing this, I am just letting it play out. I am having so much fun with it!
