Webster

Jonathan Friedrichs

Voice: the right to present and receive consideration of one's desires or opinions.
Balance: steadiness and stability; habit of calm behavior, judgment, etc.

These two words are in the forefront of my brain right now. They are just sitting there waiting for me. And on deck is Purpose.

Somehow I need these three friends to join hands and become a team.

You know how life sometimes sends you messages in the weirdest forms. You can be sitting watching a movie, reading a book, or reading a blog and suddenly know - Hey, I needed that message. I think maybe that was for me!

That has been happening a lot lately. It started with Heidi Swapp's message at Scrap Etc. and it has continued here and there. Lately, I have been learning from Heather Armstrong. Her website and daily blog called Dooce has been dealing with her voice and purpose. There are times when Heather makes me uncomfortable - she goes too far for me but the point is that she goes. I admire that about her. She is very candid about her feelings and has no problem talking about ugly if that is what is on her mind. Yet, there is a sensitive side to her that is ever so appealing to me.

And then this morning, I read Monique McLean's blog - all about exciting things that are happening in her life regarding purpose and what is next for her after selling her scrapbook store.

I know that these are all pieces of a puzzle. At this time, I can't see the picture on the box to see how they are going to come together but the exciting thing is that they are there. Waiting...

And I am working on my old acquaintance, Patience.
