Street of Dreams

Can you imagine living here? It is just outside my realm of imagination. These houses, which we toured yesterday, were fun to see. The decorating was the part that really interests me. Another form of art. The scale of items was the most interesting thing. Everything was over the top BIG and it worked.

What a kitchen great room. So inviting despite its grandeur and scale. This designer knew what she was doing. The other two houses were just too theatrical for me.

This backyard was worthy of any pricey resort. As was the bowling alley, theatre rooms, and putting greens. Is having everything you could ever want at your fingertips isolating and limiting? Or if you are a celebrity do you need that to get away from the public eye? Interesting question to me.

Would you want to live here? Inside the interior design theme was "old Hollywood". Very glitzy.

This I would like to have - a gift wrapping room. Now, that's useful and cool.

Steff fell in love with this couch. Retails for $4500. Hello, Target? Could you please knock this off for $699? See the scale of the accessories? Huge. And this was not a big room. How can that
be translated to what I do?

And the most interesting thing of all. Took a picture of this beauiful outdoor kitchen. Can you see what it says on the TV? "You won't find it here." Just random synchronicity. I did not see it till I was downloading the pictures. Interesting...

What a beautiful house! Was it an open house and you went to look at it? How did you get a tour? Thanks for stoping by my blog. The landscape canvases are 12X24 and I highly recommend the class. I really learned a lot. As far as the wood plaque goes, I did not prime it at all. I wanted some of the wood to show through my layers. Next time I might sand it a little just to make it more smooth. -Shonna
