Details re:Friday

Barbara and I went to Deck Down Under for a seafood lunch to talk about Joan and catch up with each other. We were sitting here talking - focused intently on each other - when we heard a huge splash just beyond our table. Something wanted our attention desparately. Two dolphins were playing right beside our table and we were missing it! They made sure that we saw them - playfully frolicing. Surfacing,rolling and disappearing with intent. And wanting our attention. They played for awhile and then moved on. Wow.

We sitting on the lanai drinking Rosa Regale watching the gorgeous sunset ( see it reflected in the lanai door?). Barbara and I were talking when a flock of birds flew over the lake backlit by the sunset colors of Caribbean blue and orangy pink. I pointed them out to Barbara and they flew around the lake and then back in front of the sun so she could see them lit in the colors of the sunset. They then took one more lap for us to see them clearly and then flew in perfect formation towards us and then precisely over the lanai. A show seemingly just for us. Purposefully, deliberately over this house and not the one on either side in close proximity.

Dinner that Joe and Jarrett made for us while we scrapbooked memories of Joan. Such a thoughtful addition to our day.
