- Adam Lambert and Danny Gokey - holy cow, they rocked American Idol this week.
- Watching people's lives change (see #1) is such a spine tingling thing to witness.
- You just never know when a moment in time is one that you will always look back to and say, "that was when it all started".
- The retail stores here are jammed with unsold merchandise. The clearance racks are stuffed full. Kohl's still has Christmas ornaments on clearance - in March.
- Gas is still hovering at $2.01 here - ridiculous based on oil prices.
- Our house's value has dropped at least 35% in the 2 years we have lived here. I can't even think about it.
- Joe and I are going to a log home show on Saturday. Can't wait.
- I have to agree with Nora Ephron - I hate my neck. It is the oldest looking thing about me. That photo with the fun necklace - totally photoshopped. Today's photo in green shirt - not. Yeah, they are quite different.
- Your kids can break your heart and not even know it. Parenting is the hardest thing in life.
- The news these days can be so frightening that I have to take a news break and think about things like American Idol and new K& CO stamps so I don't crawl under the bed and refuse to come out.

Have fun at the log show! I agree w/ you on gas - we are so scammed! And I've gotten so that I turn off the news when I hear another story about violence....it's too much.
