600 Posts

Wow - I just passed my 600th post. Hard to believe. In celebration it is time for a Ten Things-

Ten Things I Like About Blogging

1. Posting helps me organize my thoughts about something. Sometimes my posts are the bridge from a feeling to an understanding. The real understanding may come after the post so all you get is the bridge.
2. History! I can look back and see when something happened or look at photos to see how things were and see the difference now.
3. New blog friends - I have "met" some really nice people thru blogging.
4. Photography - my abilities have changed greatly since the beginning both in how I take photos and what I can do to them afterward.
5. It is a way for my daughter to know what we are doing and see pics of us doing it. Maybe it helps her feel not so far away.
6. Sharing my art. I like seeing what other people are doing in scrapbooking, art journaling and painting - my hope is that every once in a while someone is inspired by what I do.
7. Connection - it is helpful to know that we are not alone in our struggles. Many things are universal.
8. Experimenting - it is a great place to try out new ideas, concepts, thoughts etc. and see how it looks in print.
9. Legacy - it is pretty clear now after 600 posts who I am and what is important to me. Anybody who reads this knows me.
10. I just plain enjoy it!
