After our trip to the Desert Botanical Gardens, Barbara took me to a gorgeous resort in Scottsdale that she had been to years ago that sits on the side of Camelback Mountain - the Phoenician. I had my now traditional prosecco as we sat on the terrace overlooking the town just before sunset.
The view was gorgeous.
As the sun went down, it got even prettier.
And then the lights came on and sun was down - ooohhhh - magic!
It has such a retro Hollywood feel to it that I kept waiting for Rock Hudson and Doris Day to come out of one of the cabanas. What a moment!
