Intriquing Lists - Interactive (that means you!)

While I was at Creative Escape (did you know I went to CE? HA!), one of the classes was based on lists. I thought it was interesting at the time but of all the classes, I can't get this one out of my mind. I was sure it would be Tim's class that stayed with me because I LOVED his class, the project and was thrilled to meet him. You say Tim Holtz in our family and everyone is fully aware of who he is, can describe his style and show you a fistful of his product.

Laurie Stamas talked about using lists for journaling. I am all about lists. Her concept is based on this book which examines how much you can tell about a person simply from reading a list they have made. Whether it is a grocery list, a to-do list, or a bucket list, it gives the reader a glimpse into the world of the list maker.

So, let's give it a try! I am going to pick a List Prompt, post my list and then invite you to do the same. Whether you make your list on your blog and link it in the comments or post your list in the comments, please play along. This idea intriques the heck out me.

Ten of My Favorite Small Things - at this moment

  1. TiVo

  2. My art studio

  3. A pool and lake in my backyard

  4. Having my sister, brother in-law and niece 10 minutes away rather than 12 hours

  5. Napping with my dog snuggled next to me

  6. Psych - the USA TV show - seriously funny

  7. Email from friends

  8. Chips and salsa/Pepsi with a lime

  9. Hugs from my teenage son

  10. Blogs, blogs, blogs

Your turn!

It is indeed a charcoal accent wall... and thank you! It is tough to get a really nice picture in the space...

There will be more home purchases/projects soon, I believe... on all sorts of scales. I'm looking for chairs and a rug and who knows what else! Everything in my apartment currently came from my Charlottesville apartment and originally was thrifted/yard saled/bargain shopped and while I still love half of these items (and am proud to have secured them so stealthily), the other half are ready for replacing! Luckily, I enjoy the search just as much as the finished product.

I'm going to work on my list now!
