It looks like we are very lucky and Gustav will not be hitting FL. I feel for the people in its path. It is going to be devastating and scary.

We are however already having our weather effected by Gustav. His counterclockwise outer bands are coming in off the Atlantic and giving us a very gray, cloudy and rainy day. Our weather generally flows from west to east across the state and ends up in the ocean. Today everything is backwards.

In happier news, it is TWO days until I get on the airplane headed for Arizona. It has been very hot here lately so Iam conditioned for the desert. Add a hot flash in there and I am basically on broil at all times.

I have banned Barbara from my blog so I can show you pictures of my preparations.
My apron
Barbara's apron - lousy blurry picture but you get the idea
Our notebooks - from Michaels and then embellished
How cool that this was the insides! Thank you, dollar bin.
I embroidered this on the bottom of each apron. We will be taking Joan with us in spirit.
These are for our name tag lanyards.
My FL kitsch giveaways.
Tomorrow, I will actually pack. I had planned to take my smaller suitcase packed inside my larger suitcase but I think I am going to need both on this leg of the trip as well. I am taking snacks and juice boxes with me as the restaurants at the resort are very pricey. So breakfast on non CE days is definitely juice boxes and granola bars. We are hoping to get offsite at least some of the time so we will have options.
And that is where it stands...
