I wanted to start an altered book. I like the idea of my pages being in a bound format. I found this book at the library sale for a quarter. Nice hardback old book of short stories that is just right for altering.
I stapled about 15 pages together for strength, applied gesso for more strength and surface since I had no idea what mediums I was going to use and then just went for it. Patterned paper, stamps, stickers, and paint - ribbon tabs for color and page turning.
I like it.
