So, Christmas did not turn out exactly as we planned because high fever and coughing were not on the checklist. The sick boy was Jarrett who slept thru most of Christmas Eve. Whenever he was awake, we opened a stocking stuffer (we open a stocking stuffer every hour on Cmas Eve) and ended up catching up at about 8:00 pm.

We watched White Christmas with snacks as is tradition. Watched some of the Special Features and learned that Vera Ellen did not sing at all and her tracks were dubbed in. I had no idea! And Danny Kaye was the third choice after Fred Astaire and Donald O'Connor had to drop out. I love the special features on DVD. Maybe more than the movie itself.

Christmas Day was pretty low key. Opened our gifts and had a turkey dinner. The Christmas movie was out with Jarrett sick so I still haven't seen PS I Love You. I have watched a video marathon though cos what else do you do with a sick child? My parents dropped gifts at our door and ran to not get infected.

Today Jarrett is better though still coughing. Hoping he will be on the mend soon.
